Well it was my birthday yesterday.. and I got my scanner! Yay! I have been scanning loads of drawings over, especially the ones I took pictures of. S'all I gotta say really. I haven't put up a journal entry in ages.

I asked my dad earlier how cheap he'd be able to get a scanner from, from this shop he goes to and gets loads of stuff pretty cheap. He said about £25, so I asked him, if I gave him the money, could he get me one. and he said sure, you can have one for your birthday, which is Ocober 5th. I'll be 14.
Yesssss! That means that, so long as he stands by what he said, I'll be able to upload my drawings and get scans of the ones that I took crappy photos of!! ^-^

Oh, and I also got a new horse last week! She's actually the one that I fell from and almost broke both my legs.. but yeah.. lol. It wasn't her fault. Anyways, she's really coming on now and she's got one hell of a jump! Dinah gets along with her too

i had bad fall today from ace... we were jumping and she tripped and fell. i came off and she landed on me, on my legs. she just laid there and was practically crushing me, but if she had moved she would have kicked me because i was trapped between her front and back legs under her belly. bless her, she didn't panic at all. my friend tried to ring some ppl and i was trapped for about 5mins. then ace started to get upset and she stood up, and i curled up and started screaming. she managed to get away without getting me too bad, but she got my shoulder. it wasnt her fault, any other horse would have panicked straight away. she could have broken both my legs and my arm. instead im just v. scratched up and my arm is swollen n cant move it good. thats why my typing is shit.. lol. but my legs are bruised as hell. ace is bit lame and she got a cut on her muzzle but we're both alive and thats what matters. i dont blame her at all if it was anyones fault it was mine.. she was such sweetheart. i had to ride dinah back while my friend led ace, she had been riding dinah.

My beautiful cat passed away today, the 8th August, 2005 sometime between 6:30 to 7:00 at 20 years old. She lived a full and happy life after being the only surviving kitten from a litter rescued from a plastic bag down a ditch and I'm glad that I was there to see the thirteen years that I saw.

I'll always miss Mitzi. She was in the family longer than I was and I think she loved me almost as much as I loved her. She was beginning to go blind and she was deaf. Her death was caused by kidney failure - her system completely shut down. I never got to say goodbye.
